Bearing False Witness

Wrongful convictions: Research by D. Michael Risinger, Professor of Law at Seton Hall indicates that 3.3%-5% of those convicted of crimes are factually innocent. Some have estimated 130,000 to 260,000 American inmates did not commit the crime they've been convicted of. My son is one of them, convicted of murder despite exculpatory evidence. This blog is dedicated to exonerating him and others by raising our national awareness of wrongful convictions.

Jeep

Below is the Jeep that Joel and Todd Newmiller, Brad Orgill, Mike Lee, and Jason Melick rode in. Joel was the driver. Todd sat in the front passenger seat. The others sat in the rear seat, but their statements are unclear as to who sat in which position. It seems likely that Brad sat on the driver's side as the vehicle arrived at the crime scene. Blood transfer from Brad's bloody clothing place him in the passenger's side rear seat when the Jeep left the scene.
